Mr. Charles Richard "Charlie" Hall, age 76, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Madison and North Vernon, Indiana entered this life in Madison, Indiana on August 8, 1939. He was the loving son of the late, Chester Clarence and Anna Ruth Perkinson Hall. He was raised in Jefferson County and was a 1957 graduate of Central High School on Ryker's Ridge. On July 15, 1962 Charlie was united in marriage to Janice L. Jorgenson in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This union was blessed with two daughters, Debi and Jennifer and two sons, Jody and Tracy. He was inducted into the United States Army on April 10, 1973 in Madison, Indiana. He rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and served until he was honorably discharged and retired on August 7, 1999 at Edinburgh, Indiana. Charlie also had worked for Rexnord/Envirex in Madison retiring after 32 years of service as a supervisor. He was a member of the Ryker's Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed volunteering for non-profit organizations and was an avid golfer. He also had held membership in the Madison Chamber of Commerce, Madison VFW Post 1969 and Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion. He moved to North Vernon in 2005 and attended First Baptist Church of North Vernon there. He had resided in Louisville for the past year. Charlie died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 3:47 p.m. at his home in Louisville, Kentucky.

A LOVING FAMILY
Charlie will be missed by his loving daughters, Debi Copley (Harry) of North Vernon, Indiana, Jennifer Parr (Tom) of Louisville, Kentucky; his loving sons, Jody Hall (Teresa) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tracy Hall (Kelle) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sisters, Barbara Scholl, Sue Ann Wright and Lu Ann Blessinger of all of Corydon, Indiana; his brother, Chester Michael Hall of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lyndi Copeland, Elizabeth Parr, Abby Parr, Chris Parr, Alexander Kevin Hall, Andrew Hall, Nick Hall, and Matthew Hall; his great granddaughters, Brooklyn Copeland, Alaina Spicer and Charley Zurluhlen; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Clarence Hall, died Nov. 12, 1980, his mother, Anna Ruth Perkinson Hall, died Jan. 23, 1973, his sister, Helen Tingle, his first wife, Janice L. Hall, died September 18, 2010, and his niece, Judy Murphy.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., by Pastor Bob Weeks and Pastor Kurt Sauder at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Thursday February 4, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MILITARY HONORS
A final salute will be conducted by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion with full military honors to follow at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana conducted by the Indiana National Guard Ceremonial Unit and Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.
