Obituary of Ingolf Petersen

Ingolf John Petersen, age 88, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life Monday, November 24, 2008 at Lake Ozark Retirement Center, Osage Beach, Missouri.

He was born July 18, 1920 in Waukegen, Illinois, a son to John and Anna (Jorgensen) Petersen.

He was united in marriage on March 24, 1955 to Isle Noll and together they had shared the past 53 years until his passing.

Ingolf had served our country proudly in the United States Navy and had served his duty during World War II.

Ingolf had worked at and retired from U.S. Steele. He lived in Waukegan, his hometown, until 1980, then moved to Osage Beach. After moving to Lake of the Ozarks he worked in the Personnel Department at Lodge of the Four Seasons.

He is survived by his wife Ilse of the home; two daughters, Ingred Wickam and husband Sherrell of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Ilona Furbee of Osage Beach, Missouri; three brothers, Carl Petersen , Walter Petersen and Robert Petersen; one sister, Lucy Mahncke; one granddaughter, Michelle Johnson and husband Anthony and two great-grandsons along with several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Petersen.
