"Chad Michael Owen, age 10 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Patoka, Illinois due to a vehicle accident.
He was born November 4, 2005 in Minnesota the son of Robert Owen and Erin Nynas Schutt. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Russellville. He loved his family, school and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Erin Schutt, his step father Adam Schutt, his brother Logan Schutt and sister Robbyn Owen as well as his great grandfather’s Kenneth Fisher and Wayne Martin Nynas. He is survived by his father Robert Owen of Minnesota; his grandparents Rickey and Jan Nynas of Carlton, Minnesota and great grandmothers Genevieve Fisher of Scranton, North Dakota and Geraldine Nynas of Cloquet, Minnesota.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Nash officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Church Cemetery in Elkton"
