No marker was found at Snyder cemetery.
Research tells me that he probility buried by his parents.
USD, daughters of 1812 war, records state he was buried at Higley cemetery. Some old Ohio History books calls the Snyder cemetery the Snyder/Higley cemetery. Although no Snyder's burials were found there.
He served under General Harrison in the Army of the Northwest, the same unit as his first cousin Elihu Higley.
While in the Maumee country they had a skirmish with the emeny, and a bullet from a Indian, aimed at his heart struck the bible in his jacket, which his mother gave him, but did not pass through and his life was preverved.
Probate court records case number 98, dated October 11, 1837.
I estimated his true death day 5-6 days from this record.
