Laura A. Raderstorf, 80, Monticello, passed away Jan. 28, 2016, at Lakeview Village in Monticello.

She was born on June 4, 1935, in Burlington, Vt., to the late Charles K. and Katie (Hosking) Jones.

On Nov. 13, 1960, she married Reuben Edward Raderstorf in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1999.

She grew up on the family farm in Waitsfield and graduated from Waitsfield High School in 1953.

She enlisted in the United States Air Force on Oct. 6, 1953 and served during Korea.

She attended Lake Shafer Christian Center in Monticello and was active in Joy Fellowship, the ladies ministry at the church, as well as secret pal exchange.

Surviving are her children, Charles H. Raderstorf, Lt. Col. USMC, Ret. of Fairfax, Va., Kevin (Lori) Raderstorf, Monticello, Holly D. (Brett) Petrie, Burnettsville, C. Sue Robertson, Logansport, and Alice D. Vincz (companion, John Robertson), Monticello; sister-in-law, Jewel Doreen Baxter, Monon; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman C. Jones.

Arrangements: Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.

Burial: Buffalo Cemetery, Monticello, Indiana.
