Payne, Philip 68, went to be with his Lord on Thursday January 28, 2016 at Wilson Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Pauline. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Sharon Payne of Kirkwood; son Mark Payne of Kirkwood; brother and sister in law Ronald and Mary Ruth Payne of Jacksonville, Fl.; sister Barbara Smith of Jacksonville Fl.; also several nieces and nephews. He loved woodworking/woodcarving, gardening and was a little league coach for 40 years with the Town of Kirkwood Youth Baseball. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Johnson City. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the First Baptist Church of Johnson City 1321 Reynolds Road Johnson City. The Rev. Russ Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Kirkwood. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 10am until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Johnson City
