Many Messages of Sympathy Sent to Allen and Miriam Todd
The many friends of Miss Miriam Todd and Allen Todd, Jr., are sending them messages of sympathy on the passing of their mother, Mrs. Allen Todd, Sunday night at her home, 265 Thirteenth, near Jefferson street. Mrs. Todd had been ill for the past year, and prior to that time she was prominent socially and in club circles. She was president of the Portland Shakespeare Study Club for two years and a leader in the club’s social and dramatic work and later active in patriotic affairs. Her son, Allen, arrived last night from Camp Lewis to make arrangements for the funeral, which will be in charge of the Finley undertaking parlors. Miss Miriam Todd formerly attended St. Helen’s Hall and is well known among the younger set.
