Daniel was born in Altus Oklahoma on April 30th, 1959 and departed this life on Jan 30th 2016. Dan is a twin. His brother is Find A Grave contributor Don Calhoun, 47651407.

Dan is the third child of William Pierce Calhoun and Rena Lita Weinman, both parents are deceased.

Dan was the planned child. The maternity doctor of 35 years did not predict twins. This was before ultrasounds were available. Dan weighed 4 1/2 lbs and was one of the first children in Oklahoma placed in an incubator. Mom said the Doctor was really embarrassed. But that's Okay, because I was the Bonus., Mom did lose her first child to stillbirth.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Altus Oklahoma, he was unmarried and had no children.

Dan served in the United States Marine Corps from 1976-1980 as a clerk. He has been working for an artist (sculptor) in Houston Texas for the past 30 years.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents and eldest brothers, Patrick and James. Survivors include twin brother Donald of Clinton Utah. The Calhoun family of six is now down to me.
