Capt. ALFRED C. BRAGONIER, a veteran of the Union Army and senior member of the firm of A.C. Bragonier & Sons, dealers in oils, died yesterday morning at his home, 2410 Madison avenue, Baltimore, from a complication of diseases. He had been in good health up to a few weeks ago.

Captain Bragonier was born in Middletown, Frederick County, 70 years ago and lived in that town until he went to Baltimore 20 years ago. At the outbreak of the Civil War he organized a company and joined the Union forces, with the rank of captain. He served throughout the war.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Victoria Bragonier, he is survived by four sons, Messrs. Reginald, Oscar, Fred T., and James Bragonier; and six daughters, Mrs. Nellie Deiger, Mrs. John T. Lewis, Mrs. T.M. Magruder, Mrs. John Rife, Mrs. Annie Aubert and Mrs. C.T. Picking. Mrs. Picking resides near Harmony Grove, this county.

Columbia Lodge, A.F. & A.M. of Frederick, will have charge of the funeral, which will take place tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made at Middletown.
