Darien – Gary Lane Andrews, 52, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at the South Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.

He was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County and worked as a Renovation Technician at FLETC in Brunswick. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed time with his family and co-workers. Gary was a loving, Christian father, husband, brother and friend and a member of Darien Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilce and Evie Andrews, and a sister, Ruby Gulrich.

Survivors are his wife, Diana-Lee Andrews; sons, Gary L. Andrews, Jr. and Joseph W. Andrews; brother and sister-in-law, Miller Andrews and Nora, all of Darien; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Sunday, January 31 at 12 Noon at the home of Miller Andrews, 1392 Cypress St. in Darien. Funeral services will be Monday, February 1 at 3 P.M. at the Darien Church of God with Rev. Tommy Whaley and Rev. Sammy Spradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County.
