She was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Madison, to the late John A. French on June, 16, 1963, in Indianapolis.
She was employed for 30 years as a custodian at Greenwood Community Schools, retiring in 2006.
Janice is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ellen Stuffle(Richard) of Plainfield; sons John Arthur French II and Delbert Lee French, both of Indianapolis, and Raymond Charles French(Julie) of Greenwood; brother Keith Lockridge(Wanda); and grandchildren, Alicia Anderson, Bradley Stuffle, Erin French, Eric Stuffle and Ethan French.
She was preceded in passing by her husband; parents; and brother Gene Lockridge.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave.,Indianapolis. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
