RANDY DAVID GANN, 58, Died at Home Friday, January 29, 2016, after a Lengthy Gallant Battle with Cancer.

He was Born, April 20, 1957, to Paul Noel and Lucille English Gann.

He Graduated from Booneville High School in 1975 and Attended NEMCC.

After a brief stint with other companies, he began a twenty-one year career as Booneville plant manager with B & B Concrete Co., retiring six months ago.

Randy was a member of the Booneville Kiwanis Club and attended Booneville Church of Christ.

Randy was a long-time umpire with MHSAA calling many high school and community college softball games all over northeast Mississippi.

He also coached various sports at Booneville City Park, his favorite being those his daughter participated in.

He enjoyed everything involving football from being a part of the chain-gang at Northeast Mississippi Community College games to cheering for his Ole Miss Rebels.

Some of his favorite times in the past four months have been his standing Friday afternoon rehashing of his senior year football at Booneville High School with teammates Art, Chris, and occasionally Leon and Matthew.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 1, at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Greg Pollock and Jim Estes officiating.
David Brevard will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 1:00P.M. until 5:00P.M.

Survivors included his son, Jordan Gann of Washington, DC; his daughter, Logan Walker (Brandon) of Falkner; the delight of his life, his two grandchildren Brenlee Walker and Bentley Walker, a brother Gil Gann (Demetria) of Booneville; a sister, Barbara Lindsey (Eddie) of Tupelo; two uncles, Dean English of Jumpertown and Bill English (Mona) of Collierville, Tenn.; an aunt, Ruth Grisham (Bob) of Jumpertown; two nieces, Mary Kylie Ruff and Corie Gann; two nephews, Brad Gann and Ben Lindsey. He also leaves his friend Brian Rowland, who was like a brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Granville and Vida McCord English, and Hollis and Ora Gilley Gann, and a brother Mackie Noel Gann.

Pallbearers are Brian Rowland, Austin Rowland, Jon Hill, Stan Pounds, Ricky Green, Joey long, Coach Billy Southward, Brent Mauney, Art Jumper, Randy Moore, Billy Martin, Chris Fulper, Sam Grisham, Dale Kendrick, Edward Smith and Gene Brooks.

Honorary Pallbearers are employees of B & B Concrete.
