Joyce Ann Drake McGuire, 64, of Pope, MS., passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. Mrs. McGuire was born on February 4, 1949, to James Frank Drake and Ivy Lee Peek Drake. She loved her family and enjoyed reading, camping and traveling. Mrs. McGuire is survived by one daughter, Tammie Pickett; one son, Phillip Pickett (Betty); and one sister, Ruby Goodnite; three grandchildren, Alicen, Laken, and Megan; and her mother Ivy Lee Gordon, all of Pope, MS. She was preceded in death by her father, the late James Frank Drake and one grandchild, the late Tyler Pickett.
