Sharon was born on May 31, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, the daughter of David and Nettie Pearl (Jeys) Miller. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macon and the Macon Rotary Club. Sharon enjoyed singing in the church choir, performing at the Maples Repertory Theatre with Carousel Productions, reading, horseback riding, volunteering her time for charitable causes, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, two grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, one son Steven Oliver, and her brother Donnie Miller.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2016, at 1:00 pm at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Mt. Salem Cemetery in Excello, MO. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to Macon Rotary Club or Mt. Salem Cemetery.
