Patricia formally worked in Food Service for St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Gulf Coast Cajuns CFMA, and had a passion for bingo, pokeno, Cajun music and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Adeline Thibodeaux, Sr.; brother, Wilfred Thibodeaux, Jr. and great grand baby DeVillier.
She is survived by her loving husband, Shelton DeVillier; children, Louis DeVillier (Patricia), Michael DeVillier (Gaina); grandchildren, Jessica Allen (Mike), Brandon DeVillier (Brittiney), Kasie Resweber (Daniel), Gracie and Emily Clement; great grandchildren, Natalye Allen, Azalie Allen, Michelle Allen, Lily Allen, Angel DeVillier, John DeVillier, new Baby DeVillier, Eli Resweber, Leander Resweber and a host of family, extended family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Compassion Hospice and Physicians Link Home Health for their continued care and dedication.
A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 31, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., with a Cajun rosary to follow. The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
