Judith Elaine Robbins, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indinapolis.

She was born May 18, 1943, to J.D. and Elma Mae (Gill) Fowler in Indianapolis.

Judith was a network supervisor for the Pulliam School of Journalism at Franklin College. She was a tutor at First Baptist Church of Indianapolis for the children from the Karen Tribe of Burma.

She was a Sunday school teacher at Second Mount Pleasant Church of Franklin and a 4-H leader in Johnson County. She enjoyed playing the autoharp, genealogy, writing and photography. She authored four books.

She is survived by her husband, Michael M. Robbins of Indianapolis; two daughters, Jill Crist(Brian) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Jenny Stultz(Chad)of Canton, Georgia; two sisters, Nola Burge(Bill)of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Glassburn(Stephen)of Franklin; and four grandchildren, Kellan Crist, Hanna Crist, Katie Mae Stultz and Tyler Stultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Elma Mae Fowler.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. with burial in Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
