Spc. David J. Ramsey of Tacoma, Washington served proudly with the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 47th CSH in Mosul, Iraq. He was loved by so many people and welcomed anyone and everyone into his life with open arms. He will be greatly loved and always missed by wife Genesa, stepchildren Travis & Lela, parents Joseph & In Tok, sister Christina, brother Scott, nephew Braden, mother-in-law Lynn & father-in-law Owen Richards, brothers-in-law Greg & Dean, sister-in-law Amanda, and his best friends David Wichmann, Brian Weich, & Austin Lewis; along with many other people whose lives he touched. He was medically evacuated from Iraq on Aug. 24 and died from a non-combat related incident. He was 27.
