Dennis Walter Lutz, 68, of Jefferson City passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born on December 2, 1947 in St. Louis the son of Walter Henry and Elenora (Bussmeyer) Lutz, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was married on June 9, 1990 to Kathleen Touchet, who survives at the home.
Dennis worked as an over-the road truck driver for several companies. He also was a member of Masonic Lodge #612 in Mokane.
Besides his wife of 25 years, he is survived by one son, James Lutz; one sister: Fran Miller and husband Sam of Piasa, IL; and one brother: Robert Lutz and wife Diane of Lawrenceville, GA.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sherman.
There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Solid Rock Family Church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Solid Rock Family Church.
