CINCINNATI: Rose M. Bintz Studer, 101, died on January 26, 2016 at St. Theresa Care Community after a long illness.She was born February 10, 1914 in Monroe County to Elmer and Anna (Pfalzgraf) Bintz. She was a 1933 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. Was married to Carl Studer in 1936 and lived in the Mansfield area till 2007. She then moved to Cincinnati. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She loved to cook and volunteered at the Saint Peter's Catholic Church, where she was also a member. She worked at the H.L. Reed Department store for 37 years, and finally retired at the age of 74. She is survived by a son, Jerry (Mary Kay) Studer of Cincinnati; a daughter, Jane (Donald) McCarthy of Edmonton, Alberta Canada; one son-in-law, Ray Dillon of Cape Coral, Florida; nine grandchildren, Michelle (Frank) Rajzer, Lisa (Kyle) Windhorn, Jerome (Kim) Dillon, Carla (Henry) Uhlenbrauck, Erik (Michelle) Dillon, Jefferey (Alejandra) Studer, Jennifer (Johan) Sverdrup, Roni McCarthy, Jan McCarthy; 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Studer; one daughter, Jacqueline A. Dillon; and four sisters, Sophia Bintz, Esther Garrett, Freda Wichterman and Leona Betts.Friends may call at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 104 West First Street, Mansfield, on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9-10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am with Rev. Gregory Hite officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery
