Robert G. "Rob" Love, 49, of Terre Haute, passed away Jan. 23, 2016, in his residence. Rob was born in Brazil, on Aug. 9, 1966, to Ralph Love and Ronetta Griggs Love.
Rob had worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation for over 26 years as a project manager. He was a member of Union Christian Church and held a master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan. He was pursuing a degree in Mortuary Science from Vincennes University. He was a member of Riley Masonic Lodge 390, enjoyed Christian music, photography and was a master gardener.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Love on Jan. 22, 2003; and a brother, Rondal Love, who passed away Dec. 22, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Ronetta Love; maternal grandmother, June Griggs; an uncle, William Griggs; and cousins, Steve and Michelle Walden, Kevin and Susan Hutson, Terry and Diana Walden, Tiffany Phillips, Denise Griggs and Shannon and Dallas Shacklett.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday Jan. 29, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday following the gathering of family and friends. Masonic services will be 12:45 Friday conducted by Riley Masonic Lodge 390. Pastor Mark Grayless will be officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City.
