On Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, Beatrice M. Chilcot passed from this life and joined her husband in the waiting arms of Jesus.

Beatrice was born in Lock Haven, April 12, 1931, daughter of the late Wilma Keller and John Andrews.

She graduated in 1949 from Lock Haven High School. She attended Lock Haven Teachers College intending to become a librarian, but she met the love of her life, Richard Chilcot, and they were married on June 8, 1951.

Beatrice worked at many jobs in her life including sewing for Bobbie Brooks, at the Woolrich Woolen Mill and at Crissman's packing plant.

She continued to work until age 80 at Market Haus and Grove.

Beatrice's greatest joy in her life was her family. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family. Beatrice also enjoyed crafting, going to yard sales and reading.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debra and William Anderson; her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Judith Chilcot; grandchildren Lisa and Aaron Reitz, Erik and Ashley Anderson, Amber and Matthew Dingus, Heather and Jeremy Stachowiak, and Nathan Chilcot and his fiancee Kyna Hollis and great-grandchildren Seth, Kaleb and Sophia Reitz, Haley and Parker Anderson, and Victoria Stachowick.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, her parents, and four brothers, Richard Andrews, John Andrews II, David Andrews and Robert Andrews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Yost- Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 by Pastor Aaron Reitz, grandson-in -law of Beatrice. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

The family will provide flowers. Because of Beatrice's love of children, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the children's section of the Ross Library or the Blanchard Church of Christ youth ministry.
