Virginia Dortha Albert, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at The Wyatt House on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She was born on February 2, 1913 in New York, New York. She was 97 years of age and is survived by her daughter Leslie Mirkovich (Sam) of Bainbridge Island, WA, grandchildren; Tony Mirkovich of Poulsbo, WA and Catie Mirkovich of Seattle, WA. She also leaves behind her sister June Fox of Wilsonville, OR and many loving nieces and nephews and her two grandchildren.Virginia was preceded in death by her husband E.S. "Skip" Albert, her son David Bruce Albert, her brother's Robert "Curly" Herrick and Frank Seoane and her sister Lois Munley. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11 am at St. John's Episcopal Church, 913 Second Street in Snohomish, WA. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Johns Episcopal Church, The Jim Hansen Shoe Fund c/o - St. John's Episcopal, The Children's Orthopedic Hospital of Seattle, WA, Hospice of Kitsap County in Silverdale, WA or the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
