VAUGHN, Florence age 87 of Dayton departed this life to be present with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2006. Florence was retired from Miami Maid Bakery and had been a long-time member of Ethan Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Woods. She is survived by her grandsons, Shareef El-amin of Houston, TX, Jeffery Woods of Dayton and Greg Woods and wife, Mary of Huber Heights; sister, Selma Harkness; brother, Bert Wood and wife, Euzelle of Dayton; (9) great grandchildren; (8) great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 12:00 Noon Friday (TODAY), September 15, 2006 at Ethan Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4519 Oakridge Dr., with Pastor Harcourt King, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at West Memory Gardens. Florence's zest for life and kind spirit will be missed by all those who loved her.
