Birth: August 29 1890, Mount Vernon, Brant County, Ontario Canada.
Jacob the son of William Wallace Mott (d 1911) and Lydia (Davidson) Mott.
He enlisted in the Army Medical Corps in Toronto Nov 20th 1914, later he was commissioned as a 2/Lieutenant in the Princess Victoria's Royal Irish Fusiliers.
He was an observer/photographer collecting pictures over enemy lines of German activities. Jacob's body was never found.
Commemorated on Page 579 of the First World War Book of Remembrance.
