Dona Frances Ray, age 77, of Clovis, NM passed away Tuesday, January 26 2016 at her home in Clovis. Visitation will be held, Friday, January 29, 2016 from 12:00PM - 7:00 PM at Muffley Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, January 30,2016 at 10:00AM at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel, 1430 Thornton Street in Clovis, with Pastor Kelly Hartz officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Terrace Cemetery in Farwell, Texas.
Dona was born October 26, 1938 to John H. and Roda Frances (Adkinson) Bohannan in Clovis, NM. She worked for ENMR as a telephone operator until her retirement. Dona was of the Baptist faith, and was active in church activities. She loved to crochet, cook, make beef jerky, and her cats.
Survivors include: son, Greg (Jennifer) Ray of Farwell, TX; daughter, Karen (Greg) Martin of Friona, TX; brother, John (Ann) Bohannan of Clovis, NM; three nieces, Sherry (Ricky) Cain, Tanya Cain, Tasha Harvey; nephews, Greg Bohannan, Terry Bohannan; two grandchildren, Dustin Ray and Jacklynn Ray, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Roda Bohannan.
