Sarah Eloise Bradshaw, age 91, of Pensacola passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 27, 2016, after a long illness. She was born in St. George, SC, on December 18, 1924, to parents Carl and Eula (Sellers) Teston.
Eloise, as she was called by all, who knew her, moved to Pensacola with her career Navy husband George in 1968. They joined East Brent Baptist Church where both served as faithful and dedicated members actively involved in all aspects of church life. Eloise was a member for over 47 years, during which her many contributions included her work with WMU and serving for over 20 years as a Sunday school teacher in the church nursery working with young children.
Eloise was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Bradshaw; daughter, Kaye Seibert; son, Michael Bradshaw; her parents; and brother, Carl Teston, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Bill Bradshaw of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren, Anje Courtney, Sally Noble (Chris), Steve Seibert (Lynn) of Pensacola, Danny Seibert of Houston, TX, Robin Brown (Whitney) of Edmond, OK, Lauren Bradshaw of Madison, WI, and Lisa Bradshaw of Grand Rapids, MI; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Bradshaw of Grand Rapids, MI; half-sisters, Dianne Nafziger and Linda Billiot of Reddick, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends their gratitude to the staffs at Pacifica Senior Living Carpenter's Creek, where Eloise was a resident the past 8 years, and DaVita Dialysis at West Florida Hospital for the care and support provided to her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at East Brent Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Burial will follow services in Pensacola Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
