She is survived by three children Sandie E Casey, George E Evans, and Debra E Grady; and three grandchildren David P Casey, Amie C Casey, and Hiram D Grady and wife Meagan.
A 1948 graduate of Kenansville High School, Dora was a long time member of Pearsall's Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, as well as being a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had an impressive career in the Sales and Development of Real Estate spanning 7 decades, and will be best remembered, along with her husband Davis, for making Duplin Country Club Estates into a reality. She was a past President of the Kenansville Chamber of Commerce, and served on numerous boards and commissions as well.
A private service for the immediate family was held at Golden Grove Cemetery in Kenansville on December 8, 2015.
