Kyley Andrew Collins, age 22, of Grove, Okla. passed away on Nov. 21, 2013.

He was born May 16, 1991, in Grove, Okla., the middle child to Rick and Trish Takacs Collins. Ky graduated from Grove Public Schools and was employed at Stanphill Construction in Afton, Okla. as a skilled laborer. He was engaged to marry Jaymie Randall of Grove.

Ky was known for a tough exterior that soon gave way to his sweet ways and infectious smile. He was devoted to his family. A fierce protector of his sister, he loved showing up with a gun whenever a potential suitor came around and he took special care of his mom whenever his dad was away for work. Very thoughtful, he would surprise his fiancé with unexpected gifts and sweet gestures of his love. He was best friends with his dad, brother, and grandfather spending countless hours around camp fires, hanging out on the point, and frying fish with them. His passions were hunting and fishing with his friends and he was happiest in his tree stand or duck blind. The life of the party, Ky lived every single moment to the fullest and laughed all the time. He found enjoyment even in the simple things of life, family, friends, and enjoying Grand Lake with a cold beer in his hand.

Ky is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Beth Collins of Grove, Okla.

He is survived by his loving parents, Rick and Trish Collins of Grove, Okla. One older brother, Braedon Collins, of Oklahoma City, younger sister, Ivy Collins, of Grove, grandparents, James and Chris Takacs, of Grove, and fiancé, Jaymie Randall of Grove, Okla., and many aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, and countless friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at the Elk River Baptist Church, Grove, Okla. with Pastor Derek Crawford to officiate. Services entrusted to Nichols Funeral Services, Grove, Okla.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kyle Collins Memorial Fund at Grand Savings Bank, Grove, Okla. 918-786-2203 or online at youcaring.com under Ky Collins.
