Gus Wilburn Alley, age 93, passed away Sunday, January 12. He was born in Parnell, Kentucky, February 5, 1903, the son of Elias and Mary Alley.
He was married to Edith Alley, who preceded him in death on July 12, 1996.
He is survived by a daughter, Ruth Raines; two grandchildren, one step great granddaughter; and a niece, Jean Smith.
Preceding him in death are twin children, Marilyn and Robert; and nine brothers and sisters.
He worked for Firestone in Akron for 43 years, retiring in 1968.
Funeral services were held January 15 with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
