ROBYN PETERS Robyn B. Peters lost her courageous and brave battle to cancer Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, with her daughters by her side. Robyn was born Aug. 8, 1942, and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she developed her love for the ocean. Robyn became a beautiful Rudas dancer and acrobat at a young age and traveled the world before settling down in Las Vegas. Robyn continued her passion in gymnastics by coaching and inspiring many young gymnasts with The Las Vegas Comets and the Henderson Aerials while raising a family of her own. Robyn was a beautiful soul and her number one priorities in life were her grandkids and family. We love you mom and thank you for teaching us what kindness, love, support and friendship truly mean! Robyn was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Thornthwaite; father, Fred Isted; stepfather, Cecil Thornthwaite; and aunts, Leslie Isted and Norma Ritson. Robyn is survived by her husband, of 36 years, David Peters; daughters, Tiffany Skaggs (Jay) and Samantha Matney (Aaron); stepdaughter, Lisa Farmer (Andy); stepson, Marc Peters (Michelle); grandchildren, Ty, Morgan, Jessica, Hermione, and Amelia; her sister, Lindsay Naas (Michael); niece, Verity Tiberti; nephew, Lucas Tiberti; dearest friend, Cheryl Maclaren; as well as family and friends throughout the United States and Australia. We miss you dearly and always will! A celebration of life will be Feb. 20, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation be made in her name to Nathan Adelson.
