Marcus Anthony Watson, 29, died at 11:41 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
He was born October 27, 1986, in Lima, the son of Rev. William J. and Annetta (Cole) Watson Sr., who both survive in Van Wert. On July 27, 2006, he married the former Danielle Lautzenheiser, who survives.
Other family survivors include two children, Karter Anthony and Jaida Lexis Watson, at home; two brothers, William J. (Jennifer) Watson Jr. of Van Wert and Angelo (Larissa) Watson of Fisher, Indiana; aunt, Ybonne Miller of North Carolina; two great aunts, Rosa Armstrong of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and Aline Howard of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; father-in-law, Jeff (Karen) Lautzenheiser of Van Wert; mother-in-law, Brenda (Dave) Burger of Van Wert; brother-in-law, Josh Lautzenheiser of Van Wert; one sister-in-law, Kasie Adkins of Van Wert; and a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 30, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
