Clyde retired from International Paper in 2008 where he worked in the Land &Timber Division. Everyone that knew him, knew that Clyde was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all types of hunting, but especially coon hunting. He raised and loved his bluetick coon hounds and was always excited to hear and see them tree.

It would be impossible for us to celebrate Clyde’s life without celebration his faith. He trusted in the Lord for Salvation and in God’s “plan” for his life. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he would say, “This is not my plan, but His plan for his life. Clyde taught us to ground ourselves by trusting in the Lord and to let Him lead us in all that we do. This is how his family would like to remember him and his life: Live lovingly and peacefully knowing that God has a plan for your life if you trust and put your Faith in Him.
