Tara Faith Snider, 29, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2015. She was born November 25, 1986 in Columbus, GA. Tara is survived by her mother, Charity Gail Borg; step-father, George H. Borg; step-sister, Michelle Borg; step-brothers, Matt Borg and Jack Borg; step-grandparents, Joyce Powell and Jack and Marion Borg; and uncle, Robert Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Ligon; sister, Fallon Ligon; brother, Matthew Ligon; grandmother, Pat Taylor; and grandfather, Art Powell. She graduated from Olive Branch High School and attended Columbus State University and the University of Memphis. Tara was a sales assistant at Hilltop Securities. She had worked in the banking industry for over 10 years, including Columbus Bank and Trust in Georgia and locally Regions Bank and SunTrust Bank. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 23 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m., Saturday, December 26 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
