He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Lucille Lewis; his father, Nathaniel Youngblood Sr.; a son, Kashawn Lewis, all of Newburgh; a daughter, Ahnahsty Lewis of Dover DE; two brothers: Joshau Lewis and Nathaniel Youngblood Jr.; a sister, Jeanette Evans; fiancee, Tyiecha Hamilton; his maternal grandmother, Marion Lewis, all of Newburgh; several aunts and uncles, and a host of cousins and many friends, and special friends, Breadwinners Ent. Shawn was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Everett Lewis; his sister-in-law, Nakisha Hayes and best friend, Ezra "Booba" Brown, who also departed this life on October 5, 2008.

Calling hours are from 9 to 10 a.m. at The Cathedral House of Refuge, 129-131 Broadway, Newburgh. A Tribute to Shawn will be held at 10 a.m. at the church, with Bishop Jeffrey C. Woody officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle Hope, NY.
