The passing of Ronald Douglas Neill of Fredericton, NB, husband of Lorraine (Carson) Neill occurred on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on October 12, 1927 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late A. Douglas and Helen (Lint) Neill. Ronald was a Dairy Farmer and the co-owner of Neill’s Farm. He was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church and was a former Treasurer and Deacon of the church.
In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his daughter, Susan Neill of Toronto, ON; son, Allan Neill (Paulette) of St. Albert, AB; four grandchildren, Derek Neill (Amanda) and their daughter, Avery; Rachel MacQueen (Wes) and their children, John, Elias and Emma; Joanne Swerda (Clayton) and their children, Heaven, Savanah, Crimson and Daisy; Adam Neill (Emilee) and their daughter, Addison; sister, Barbara Bunker of Toronto, ON; brother, Albert Neill (Eileen) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Lawrence Meade officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
