Louisa M Marker was born to Elias Marker and Susanna Devore Marker.

Louisa first, on 26 November, 1897, married Albert Nelson and between them, they had a daughter, Vivetta Nelson.

Then, on 12 May 1901, in Pottawattamie County, Louisa married Dennis J Johnson and between them, they had six children; Federick C, Olivia R, Iva E, Adalyn G, Harold C, and Ethel I Johnson.

Mrs Louisa N. Johnson, 73, was struck by a car while crossing a street in Council Bluffs Saturday night and died from her injuries. Mrs Johnson was a sister to the Marker brothers here. Her niece is Mrs Levi Benedict.

Louisa’s late husband, Dennis Johnson, died 31 March 1923, in Montcalm County, Michigan, and his remains were returned to Avoca, Iowa, for burial.

However, note that Dennis Johnson, after his arrival to the U.S., Dennis first married Olivia Olson, 18 June 1885, in Shelby County, Iowa. They had children; Peter John, Maria Dorothy, Mathilda, Olena, and Christian Johnson
