Floyd Wood
Floyd Wood, 49-year-old Morrison farmer , succombed to a sudden illness at River Park Hospital at 3 a.m. Thursday.
A native of this county and a member of the Methodist Church, he was married Dec. 11, 1954, to the former Ruth Helmer, who survives.
He was a son of the late Hugh and Stella Coppinger Wood and was a veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Black, Smartt; Mrs. Alma Youngblood and Mrs. Louise Robinson, Morrison, and Mrs. Elsie Freeze, Elkhart, Ind.
With W. R. Nunley and I. P. Pennington officiating, final rites were held in High's Chapel. Burial followed at Morrison Cemetery.
