Richard P. Muller, 66, of Kewaskum, found peace on Friday, January 22, 2016, at his home.

Richard was born on December 4, 1949, the son of the late Alois and Bernice (Sanem) Muller. On May 2, 1970, he was united in marriage to Katherine VandeBoom at Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville. Katherine preceded Richard in death on September 11, 1990. On July 24, 1992, he was united in marriage to Deborah Klann at St. Francis Cabrini in West Bend.

Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets of America Kettle Moraine Chapter 448 and the West Bend VFW Fred A. Schaefer Post #1393. Richard loved sports and enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Those Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife Deborah; two children, Angela (Matthew) Vaughan of Oshkosh and Valerie (Robert) Kurtz of West Bend; four step children, Brian (Brenna) Kehres of Los Cruces, New Mexico, Ryan Kehres of Mayville, Daniel (April) Kehres of Kewaskum and Lucas Kehres of West Bend; eight grandchildren, Preston and Addison Vaughan, Megan and Kailey Kurtz, Brady, Brandon, Annailse and Tyler Kehres; a brother, Roger Muller of Campbellsport; a nephew, Matthew Muller; his faithful companion, Maggie; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Katherine, Richard was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Carmella Muller.

A funeral service for Richard will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend. Pastor Bill Dushek will officiate and burial with military honor rites will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery (New) on Forestview Road in the town of Barton.

Richard’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
