William Hensley Grizzle was the son of Jesse Grizzle (1777-1831) and Ann Hensley (1772-1840). He was born in Russell County Virginia October 18, 1811. He married Elizabeth Franklin on August 17, 1830. Later in life he was an Elder in the Primitive Baptist Church in Castlewoods.
