He was born June 27, 1966 in Gilroy, Calif., a son of Gerry Homan and the late Robert R. Stephens. He had lived in Erie most of his life.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Stephens.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Samantha Stephens; sister, Ann Stephens; and nephew, Jarid Halm. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends. Most of his friends called him "brother."
He owned and operated Stephens Fine Arts Studio. All of his adult life he worked as a fantastic tattoo artist. He worked in several Erie area tattoo shops, in addition to owning a few. He was always most generous with his work, equipment, and especially his love.
While Pat's passion in life was designing and applying tattoos, he also did water colors and oil paintings. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Pat loved music and was a great drummer and guitarist playing in many local bands. His best time was spending time with his daughter.
A reception celebrating Patrick's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry St., Erie, PA 16502, is handling the arrangements.
