Kelly C. Baker-Piatek, 26, of 8896 Belton Drive, North Ridgeville, Ohio, formerly of New Castle, passed away June 19, 2012 at her residence.Born May 12, 1986, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she is a daughter of Frank and Lori Fisher Baker whom reside in New Castle.
She married Matthew S. Piatek on September 24, 2011.Kelly was a 2004 graduate of Neshannock High School and attended Butler County Community College.Most recently she was employed as a receptionist with M & M Insurance in New Castle. She previously worked for Dr. Phillip Schaville, Edward's Restaurant, and Cable Creations Bridal in Beaver Falls. Kelly enjoyed babysitting for several families over the years.She was active on the editorial committee for the Lawrence County Relay for Life as well as with high school fund raisers. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and shopping. She was a member of St. Camillus Church.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by a brother, Michael F. Baker; mother and father-in-law, Anthony S. and Christine Piatek; two sisters-in-law, Amanda M. Piatek and Marianne C. Piatek; maternal grandmother, Phyllis T. Fisher; paternal grandparents, Frank E. Baker Sr., and Barbara A. Baker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John W. (Jack) Fisher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Camillus Church. Rev. Father Philip Farrell will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Cemetery.
