Bethany "Blaze" Grace Clark, 18, and her son Roran Pierce Clark, 2, passed away Thursday, January 14th, 2016 due to a motor vehicle accident.

Bethany the daughter of Timalee Clark and Matthew Clark was born April 5, 1997 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Bethany was home schooled and later received her GED.

She worked in sales and as a telephone rep.

June 5, 2013 she was joined by the light of her life, Roran Pierce the son of Bethany and Cole Thomas Gray.

Roran was full of life he was the sweetest little boy with an amazing billy goat laugh.

Bethany was a free spirit, who loved to change her hair color, she enjoyed music, while Roran was a big fan of the movie Car's, taking showers and water fights. Bethany and Roran were a team, he was her life.

Family includes parents of Bethany, Matthew (Shari Teneyck)Clark and Timalee Clark all of Belle Plaine; Father of Roran, Cole Gray of Cedar Rapids; Roran's grandparents, Ronietta (Ron) Ricklefs, Rodger (Cara) Gray both of Cedar Rapids; Bethany's significant other, Logan Weldon, of Belle Plaine and close friend Darrien Purk; Bethany's birth-parents, Stacey Vileta, of Brooklyn, and T.H. (Amanda) Malloy of Iowa City; her siblings, Nikki Dubose, of Waterloo, Justin Vileta, of Brooklyn, Valerie Vileta, of Brooklyn, Gage Malloy, of Cedar Rapids, Jaiden Spencer, of Iowa City, Rhiannen Malloy, of Iowa City; Bethany's grandparents, Marie Goodwin and Elmer Malloy both of Belle Plaine; honorary sisters, Sarah Wiebbecke, Alexis Williams, Justa Goodwin all of Belle Plaine; honorary brother, Dylan Ehlen of Belle Plaine; and many more loving family and friends.

They were preceded in death by Bethany's great-grandparents, Tim and Grace Bowen, and Leon Clark; grandparents, Jim Hughes, Virgina Hoffman, and Suzanne Gray.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 24th, 2016, at the First Congregational Church, Belle Plaine with Pastor Kate West officiating. There will be a time for remembrance and fellowship in the church basement following the service until 6 pm.
