Jack was born January 7, 1918 at Logan, in Logan County, West Virginia to Millard F. and Vadah Vinson Mullins.

Jack honorably served his County with 20 years service in the United States Navy. He was aboard the USS Pennsylvania at Pearl Harbor and was an attack survivor. The USS Pennsylvania received shrapnel from the USS Arizona. He then began a career with the Dept. of Transportation working the Toll Facilities and retired again after 25 years of service. He coached Little League Baseball at Twin Hills (Cedar Hills) Athletic Association for more than 10 years in the 1960's and 70's and supported his grandchildren in all of their sports activities. He enjoyed family picnics at Goldhead and Lake Geneva. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
