OBITUARY MR. J. Y. ASHTON
Mr Ashton, a colonist of over 20 year residence among us, who till within a few years ago pursued the legal profession here, and latterly has been connected with the Lands Titles Department, died on Sunday at his residence East-terrace.
Mr. Ashton was of quiet and unobtrusive manners, and had for some time been in comparative ill-health. He leaves behind several members of his family.
