Services for John Parker Hatfield, age 77, will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at 3 pm in the Ivey Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Hogg officiating.
Mr. Hatfield was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County. He was predeceased by his parents, Emmette Parker Hatfield and Mary Ryle Hatfield Wilson and brother Wayne Hatfield.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having attained the Rank of Captain and served in the 48th Armored Cavalry. He was a graduate of Mercer University and attended the Walter F. George School of Law.
Survivors include wife, of McIntyre; son, of Dublin; grandson of Dublin and a step sister, of Byron; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations to Ivey Baptist Church Building Fund.
