Marilyn Louise Brown Herring of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 27, 1950 at Little Rock, the daughter of the late James Curtis and Mable Oline Kennada Brown. She was member of New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan and was a retired CNA. Some things she enjoyed were golfing, watching NASCAR, and of course, the Razorbacks. God blessed Marilyn with a servant’s heart, and she enjoyed working with the elderly, the disabled, and children. She was a proud mama and grandma and her family was her world. Mrs. Herring died Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 65. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Brown.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Timothy and Nita Wimberly of Sheridan; daughters, Tammy Guillaron, Jamie and husband Michael Schilder, and Lacey Herring, all of Sheridan; brother, Kenneth and wife Rose Brown of Hot Springs; sister, Melisa Brown of Cabot; grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, Blake Wimberly, Haley Wimberly, Tiffany Merton, Christian Guillaron, Erica Guillaron, Taryn Schilder, Taden Schilder; great grandchildren, Dante Merton and Jace Kirk; father of her children, Thomas Herring; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will also be Monday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M.
