Billie Daniel 85, of Kansas City MO passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 22, 2016. The family will receive friends from 10:00- 11:30 a.m Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church 7310 N.W. Prairie View Rd. Platte Woods, MO. Funeral service will start at 11:30 a.m at the church. Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, Platte Woods United Methodist Church, or Servants of Mary.
Billie was born on Augest 17, 1930 in McFall MO to Benjamin and Wilma Graves Daniel. He was United in marriage with Phyllis Nichols on December 16, 1950. Billie is a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a accounting manager for Sunshine Biscuts in Kansas City KS for 42 ff years. Billie was a member of the Platte Woods United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing billiards, watching the Kansas City Royals, Cheifs and antiquing. His greatest enjoyment came from being around his family and friends. Survivors include wife Phyllis of 65 years; sons, Philip Daniel (Marianne) of Weatherby Lake MO, Jimmy Daniel (Kathy) of Oxnard, CA; grandchildren Christopher Daniel (Sarah) of Kansas City, Kansas, Denise McGuire. (Shawn) of Overland Park, Kansas, Noland and Maxwell Daniel of Oxnard, CA; sister, Margaret Crews of Kansas City, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Garland and Gladys Nichols; infant daughter, Cindy Daniel.
