Meredith E. Wilson, 61, funeral director for Stevens Funeral Home, died Monday of cancer at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forest City. Services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, and was a Gideon. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Watt Wilson, a son James Eldon Wilson of Forrest City; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Carrol Kelly of Allen, Texas and Mrs. Meri Edith Ellis of forrest City; a sister, Mrs. Loriece Bannon of Forrest City and eight grandchildren.
