Frank P. Leone, of Gibbstown, passed from this world January 15, 2016 at the age of 94.
He is the beloved husband of Anne (nee DiMarco) for 65 years. Together they raised their adoring daughter, Barbara (Mario) Contarino. This well informed, social and loving man leaves to cherish his granddaughters Laura and Beth Anne Contarino, several nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Domenica Leone, siblings: Tony Leone, Joseph and Pauline Piazza, Antonette Corona, Frances Limanni and Rose Ritter.
A professional and civil servant, Frank worked as an electrician, Gibbstown Tax Assessor and School Board member, and, union representative/organizer well beyond the age of retirement.
A viewing will be on Wednesday 10-11:15am at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. John's Church), 647 Beacon Ave., Paulsboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:30am. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
