Edna Reynolds passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at St. Luke Home in Spencer, Iowa.

Edna, the daughter of Ann (Pohl) and Will Bendlin, was born in Manson, Iowa on August 13, 1918. She was baptized and confirmed a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, later known as First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. She attended school in Langdon and Spencer.

On December 27, 1941, Edna was united in marriage to Martin L. Reynolds in South Sioux City, Nebraska. They began farming west of Milford where they resided for nearly fifty years until Edna moved to Heritage Landing in Milford in 2002. Her final eight years were spent under the care of the St. Luke's Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa.

Edna worked at several retail jobs, and also helped in the farming operation. She loved yard work, vegetable gardening and especially growing flowers. She also enjoyed traveling and reading, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
